The Night Safari Singapore is the
world first nocturnal zoo open in Singapore, taking advantage of
Singapore’s geographical location and tropical rainforest climate ideal for a
night zoo, with sunsets occurring around 7.30 pm and generally warm and dry nights.
Since its opening, Night Safari become most popular tourist attractions in Singapore and
is a must visit attraction.
Opened in 1994, Night Safari Singapore has
been recognized as “the world first wildlife park built for visits at night“.

1. The Night Safari Tram
Hop onboard to Night Safari tram and
immerse yourself to a 40-minute journey of wild animal encounters! Journey from
the Himalayan foothills, Nepalese River Valley, Indian Subcontinent,Indo-Malayan Region, Asian Reverine Forest, Burmese Hillside to wild Equatorial Africa that traverse over eights geographical
regions, this tram ride offers live commentary in front narrating the various
exhibits, and while you may drive past a couple and miss the animal in
question, you can always go back if you really wanted to see more closely and
longer time. There is a tram station half way through the route where you
can get off and explore the upper part of the park. The tram ticket allows you
to get back on and complete the tram route round to the park entrance.
2. Walking Trails
There are three walking trails – Leopard Trail, the Fishing Cat Trail and the Forest Giants Trail, providing you
with different animals’ encounter that will let you unforgettable. Of
these, the Leopard Trail is the best – it provides you with the ability to get
up close and personal with various night animals including bats and flying
squirrels. You can walk in between the giant flying squirrels seeing them
gliding from tree to tree. The Fishing Cat Trail allow you to see astonish
swiftness of fishing cats target on the fish and lunge into the water to pin
down their fishy prey. Other inhabitants along the Fishing Cats Trail include
the elusive pangolin, the playful and noisy small-clawed otters, Indian
gharials and the largest bat in the world – the Malayan flying fox.
3. Creature of the Night
Show
Make sure you don’t miss out Creature
of the night show. Set in an open air forest, this animal presentation will
introduce you to nocturnal animals, from the elusive owl to nimble binturongs
to intuitive civets. The show also features a more interactive format where
visitors will be drawn into the action. Watch star animals demonstrate and
amaze you with their predatory and survival instincts. You will be thrilled and
shocked by the whole performance.

Night Safari presents the fire-eating display, exotic tribal dance, acrobatic and
