Singapore
government regulations require Singapore
citizens and Singapore
permanent residents to purchase a S$100 day pass or S$2000 yearly membership
for access into the casino. Singaporean patrons can enter or leave the casino
freely as long as their levy has not expired within 24 hours. Non-Singaporean
citizen or tourists can enter and leave casino as and when with free of charge
with their passports or employment passes(foreign worker in Singapore). The casino levy money
is collected by the Singapore Totalisator Board controlled by the Singapore
government, and is used for public and charity causes. This levy apply to both
Resort World Sentosa casino and Marina Bay Sands casino.
Universal Studios Singapore
Universal Studios Singapore in Resort World Sentosa is Southeast Asia’s first Universal Studios theme park.
Universal Studios Singapore divided into seven zones – including Sci-Fi City,
Ancient Egypt, New York, The Lost World, Far
Far Away, Madagascar and Hollywood. These seven
unique themed zones will encircle a picturesque central lagoon. Each zone will
feature distinctive architecture, landscaping and entertainment offerings.
1. Hollywood:
Step into the Hollywood Boulevard,
where you will be surrounded by dynamic architecture, palm trees and the famous
Walk of Fame.
2.New York:
Feel the spirit and energy of America’s
biggest and grandest city as you stroll the sidewalks of the bold and romantic
Big Apple that appears in all the great movies.
3. Sci-Fi City:
The city of the future is here now. Walk through the impressive portals into Sci-Fi City,
a futuristic metropolis filled with the most modern conveniences.
4. Ancient Egypt: Ancient pyramids and
obelisks stand fast against the sands of time as you are transported to 1920’s Egypt, the Golden Age of Egyptian Exploration.
5. The Lost World:
Universal fans will be delighted to visit two distinct but familiar themed
areas: Jurassic Park and Water World.
6. Far Far Away:
Visit the fantasy world of the Oscar-winning DreamWorks movie “Shrek”.
Movie stars, talking donkey – the land
of Far Far Away showcases
the lifestyles of the rich and fairy-taled.
7. Madagascar:

Marine Life Park
The Marine Life Park is the world’s largest oceanarium that
contain more than 20 million gallons of salt water. Located in Resort World
Sentosa, Marine Life Park
will be home to over 700,000 aquatic creatures of various sizes and colors
inside a 6.6 million gallon lagoon.
Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium
The Maritime Experiential
Museum & Aquarium will
house a 360-degree multimedia theatre where visitors can trace the history of
the maritime Silk Route
from the 9th to the 19th century. Maritime
Experiential Museum
& Aquarium provides a fascinating look and learning experience into
maritime trade along the Straits of Malacca at the maritime silk route period.
Shows along the FestiveWalk
Voyage de la Vie is the first permanent production show
to open at Resort World Sentosa. Voyage de la Vie, an original rock circus
spectacular comprising of world-renowned circus stars, is set to perform in the
Festive Grand Theatre with a capacity of 1,600 people. Voyage de la Vie
spectacularly features death defying and breathtaking acts. With an
international cast from 19 countries and other guest artists, this is Singapore’s
longest running show with over 400 performances to date. It is a feature show
in Resort World Sentosa.
Martial Combat, Asia’s
largest mixed martial arts fighting championship, is staged over six months
each year at the Compass Ballroom in the Resort World Sentosa.
Crane Dance is a
multimedia moving art installation with choreographed animatronic cranes built
over the sea. Crane Dance interprets the love story of the world’s largest pair
of animatronic cranes in a multimedia spectacle of lights, sound, water jets
and pyrotechnic effects.
Lake of Dreams is a
unique multimedia extravaganza that combines the elements of light, water, fire
and music. It located at the open area outside of Casino entrance of Resort
World Sentosa.
